FOTON ELECTROMOBILITY ACCELERATES ZERO EMISSION HOME DELIVERIES IN AUSTRALIA.

An Australia leading retailer purchased 25 units of FOTON electric light duty trucks, who has announced that it aims to

make all its home delivery trucks 100% electric-powered by 2030.

On June 5, an Australia leading retailer purchased 25 units of FOTON electric light duty trucks, who has announced that it aims to make all its home delivery trucks 100% electric-powered by 2030. FOTON helps the customer kick-start the transition of electromobility. All trucks will begin delivering groceries to local consumers over the next two months, helping the retailer be the first Australian supermarket chain to do so.

CEO of the company said: “Our home delivery trucks are a familiar sight in neighborhoods across Australia, and within the next seven years, we want to make every one of them electric, and free of fossil fuels.”

“We’re proud to be putting new EVs on the road in the coming weeks – in one of the many ways we’re working to make grocery shopping greener. Not only can we help make our suburban streets quieter and cleaner, but we hope to set an example for other businesses to support the growth of Australia’s EV industry.”

As of now, FOTON has introduced various new energy vehicle models in Australia, such as hydrogen fuel buses and pure electric light trucks, which are widely used in public transportation, “last mile” logistics and other scenarios. FOTON has become the preferred choice for local customers to implement electrification strategies and fulfill their “carbon-free” corporate responsibilities.
