On July 16, the delivery ceremony for the donation of negative pressure ambulance from BAIC & BAIC Foton to Burmese Ministry of Health and Sports was held at the Rangoon Medical Research Center, Burma. The Director of Medical Research Division of Burmese Ministry of Health and Sports Zaw Than Tun and the Business Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Burma Tan Shufu jointly participated in this ceremony. As the professional anti-pandemic rescue equipment, 2 negative pressure ambulances delivered by Foton this time will be transferred to Rangoon Medical Research Center, Burma for the emergency medical transfer and rescue of patients during the epidemic. In succession to the aid of China-aid anti-pandemic medical expert team to Burma on May 12, this donation is another aid by Chinese enterprise to Burma in terms of professional anti-pandemic equipment, filling the blank of no negative pressure ambulance in Burma.

I hereby would like to extend sincere gratitude and appreciation to the donations of Chinese enterprises and organizations. 2 negative pressure ambulances donated by BAIC Foton without any collateral condition this time show the deep Sino-Burma friendship and the spirit of community of shared future helping and supporting each other. Sino-Burma will move forward the “The Belt and Road” construction as per the principle of achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration, build with great efforts the Sino-Burma “The Belt and Road” to a health road safeguarding the people’s health and safety, boost the work resumption and economic development of Burma, and restore the Burmese people to normal life.”
