Three Foton TOANO negative pressure ambulances procured by Philippine Red Cross (PRC) were loaded at Qingdao Port for urgent shipping to Philippines on April 3 and were arrived at Philippines on April 13. At completion of customs clearance, these ambulances will be delivered to Philippine Red Cross for direct anti-pandemic rescues in Manila with raging epidemic.
As a subsequent cooperation plan, two parties have entered the substantial order-placing stage for subsequent cooperation of two negative pressure ambulances. In addition, Foton (Philippines) has stored 70 conventional ambulances locally for emergency needs of Philippines anti-pandemic relief supplies and equipment.
Confronted with the shortage of professional rescue equipment in Philippines, Philippine Red Cross (PRC) actively contacted Foton and completed the first order for 3 ambulances in the middle of March after learning that Foton manufactured and donated negative pressure ambulances for China’s anti-pandemic rescues. As a matter of fact, Foton always pays close attention to and supports the Philippine local public welfare and has been in cooperation with Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for 10 years and donated accumulatively >10 ambulances.
