"Our affiliate" means any corporation or legal organization that is or will be controlled by us, control us or jointly controlled with us. "Control" means to have the power to determine the financial and business policies of a corporation, directly or indirectly enjoy more than 50% of the management or decision-making rights of the corporation, and can obtain benefits from the business activities of the corporation.

(4) Sharing with authorized partners: Certain of our services (e.g. real-name authentication) will be provided by authorized partners only for the purpose stated in this Policy. (5) disclosed to the public by you on your own; and,
(6) collected from legally disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure and other channels.

4. How Foton Overseas protects your personal information

4.1 Foton Overseas attaches great importance to the security of your information. We will endeavor to take all reasonable physical, electronic and administrative security measures to protect your user information. We will prevent unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage or loss of user information. We will enhance the security of user information by adopting the encryption technology; we will protect our user information from being subjected to malicious attacks by adopting trustworthy protection mechanisms; we will deploy access control mechanisms to try to ensure that only authorized persons have access to user information; and we will organize security and privacy protection training courses to enhance staff awareness of the importance of protecting user information. Foton Overseas has passed numerous international and domestic management system certification.

4.2 We will take all reasonable and practicable measures to avoid the collection of irrelevant personal information as much as possible. We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, unless otherwise specified by laws. After the expiration of the above user information retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.

4.3 Please use a complex password to help us ensure the security of your account. We will do our best to ensure the security of any information that you send to us. In order to ensure your information security more effectively, we also hope that you can strengthen the awareness of self-protection. We are only liable for the disclosure of your personal information to the extent that it is directly caused by Foton Overseas. Therefore, please keep your account number and password information properly to avoid the disclosure of your personal information.

4.4 The Internet environment is not 100% safe, so we will try our best to ensure or guarantee the security of any information that you send to us. In the event of an unfortunate personal information security incident (leakage, loss, etc.), we will, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, timely inform you of the basic situation and possible consequences of the security incident, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for you to independently prevent and reduce risks, and remedial measures for you. We will timely inform you of the relevant situation of the incident by email, letter, phone call, push notification and other means. 5. How Foton Overseas accesses, modifies and deletes your personal information

5.1 You may request us to delete your personal information in accordance with the law; if we have a reasonable basis to believe that the request is deceptive, unenforceable or impairs the privacy rights or interests of others, we will refuse to process the request.

5.2 You may request us to delete your personal information if:

(1) You find that any behavior of our handling of personal information violates any laws and regulations;
(2) we collect and use your personal information without your express consent;
(3) any behavior of us in handling personal information seriously violates the agreement with you; and,
(4) you will no longer use any of our services.
For security purposes, you may be required to provide a written request or otherwise prove your identity. We may ask you to prove your identity before we process your request.

5.3 If you cancel your account by yourself, we will stop providing you with products or services, and delete your personal information or anonymize it according to applicable laws.

5.4 We do not charge for your reasonable request in principle. However, if the request is repeated many times and exceeds the reasonable limit, we will charge a certain cost at our discretion. We may reject requests that are gratuitously repeated or excessively self-conceited (e.g., those requiring the development of a new system or fundamental changes in existing practices), pose a risk to the legal rights of others, or are highly impractical (e.g., those involving the information stored on backup tapes).

5.5 We will not be able to respond to your request to delete personal information if:

(1) It is relevant to our performance of obligations stipulated in laws and regulations;
(2) it is directly related to national security or national defense security;
(3) it is directly related to public security, public health or major public interests;
(4) it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, examination and approval and execution of judgment;
(5) we have evidence to show that you have engaged in subjective malice or abuse of power;
(6) it is for the purpose of safeguarding the major legitimate rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals, such as life and property, but it is difficult to get your consent;
(7) your request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations; and,
(8) any trade secret is involved.

6. Preservation and cross-border transfer of your personal information

We will store the information that we collected about you in the People's Republic of China. If we transfer the personal information overseas for business purposes in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we will obtain your consent in advance and inform you of the purpose of cross-border transfer, receiving party, security measures, security risks and other information.
